Registration

Evacuee Registration

All individuals affected by evacuation orders are asked to register regardless of whether they require lodging.

Only one representative per family needs to be present to register at the Emergency Reception Centre.

Registration is important for many reasons including:

  • Registered evacuees will receive help with lodging requests.
  • Registered evacuees will be provided with food vouchers and access to other resources.
  • Registration helps with reuniting families.

Please do not bring pets into the Reception Centre or leave them in vehicles. On-site minders will care for pets while their families register.

Registration Renewals

Already registered? Extensions are available for evacuees under Evacuation Alerts and Evacuation Orders who require services for additional days. Those who need their referral forms renewed may report to the Emergency Reception Centre during open hours on the day their referral expires. Referral forms cannot be processed in advance of the expiration date.

To receive an extension, evacuees must bring to the ERC:

  • A piece of ID
  • The yellow copies of the referral forms they received during initial registration.

Only one representative per family needs to be present for the renewal process.
