Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - August 17, 2023

1444 Nation Cres

• Will have no through access, Thursday, August 17^th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for water service repairs.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have through access on the crescent.

9^th Avenue between Vancouver Street and Victoria Street

• Will be closed 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 17^th to 7:00 am, Friday, August 18^th for paving. Detours will be posted.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

7^th Avenue between Quebec Street and Dominion Street

• Will be closed 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 17^th to 7:00 am, Friday, August 18^th for paving.  Milling will require both lanes to be closed at one time, once they are done, fast lanes will resume traffic flow and job will require both slow lanes to be closed.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

15^th Avenue between Ogilvie Street and Highway 97 Intersection

• Will be closed 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 17^th to 7:00 am, Friday, August 18^th for paving.  Detours will be posted.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

15^th Avenue Westbound between Jarvis St and Tabor Blvd

• Will be single lane, Friday, August 18^th to Thursday, August 31^st from 8:00 am to 4:00 except weekends for Telus upgrades.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Stuart Dr between 5^th Ave and Kinsmen Pl

• Will be closed, 24hrs per day, Monday, August 14^th to Friday, August 25^th for paving.
• Detour required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Downtown Pool Sidewalks between Dominion, Quebec and 7^th Ave

• Will have minor sidewalk disruptions, Thursday, August 10^th to Friday, August 25^th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for sidewalk repairs.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

4^th Ave between Quebec St and Dominion St

• Will be closed, Saturday, August 26^th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for Love Local Vendors Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

4288 Northwood Pulpmill Rd

• Will be single lane alternating traffic, Friday, August 4^th to Friday, August 25^th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily for Telus utility work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Gunn Rd

• Will be single lane alternating traffic, Tuesday, August 22nd to Thursday, August 31^st from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily for Telus utility work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Intersection of 18^th Ave and Foothills Blvd

• Will be closed, Monday, June 12^th to Thursday August 31^st, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for construction of a roundabout.
• Detour required. No access to Foothills Blvd from 18^th Ave. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Boundary Avenue between Boundary Road and Talchako Road

• Will be closed, 24hrs, Tuesday, August 15^th to Friday, September 8th for water and sewer tie-in work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between Vancouver Street and Brunswick Street

• Will be closed – 24 hrs., starting, Tuesday, August 8^th to Friday September 29^th for watermain project.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway

• Will be closed every Saturday starting May 6^th to October 14^th for the Wilson Square Community Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Quebec St between 2^nd and 3^rd Ave

• Will be closed, every Saturday in summer, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm for the Prince George Farmers Market.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Simon Fraser Bridge

• Southbound Simon Fraser Bridge will remain closed until Fall 2023. Northbound Simon Fraser Bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
