Ospika Blvd between Massey Dr and 15th Ave

  • Will be single lane, Wednesday July 5th and Thursday July 6th for Milling Operations.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

  • Will be closed, Friday July 7th, for water service repairs.
  • Detour required.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Chief Lake Road and Foothills Intersection

  • May experience traffic disruptions, Wednesday, July 5 @ 7:00 pm to Thursday, July 6 @ 6:00 am and Thursday, July 6th @ 7:00 pm to Friday, July 7th @ 6:00 am for construction work.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Chief Lake Rd between Foothills Blvd and Domgala Rd

  • Will be single lane traffic, Friday July 7th, for Shaw repairs.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Quebec St between 2nd and 3rd Ave

  • Will be closed, every Saturday in summer, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm for the Prince George Farmers Market.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Foothills Blvd between N Nechako South and North Turning Lanes

  • Will be single lane traffic, Monday July 10th, for weed abatement.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

George Street in front of Wood Innovation Building

  • May experience minor traffic disruptions, Monday, July 10th from 8:30 am to 11:00 am for the loading of materials  into 3rd floor Wood Innovation building.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Brunswick St and 7th Ave between Hwy 16 and Canada Games Way / 6th & 7th

  • Will be single lane, alternating traffic, Friday, July 14th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for paving in intersection.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Dominion St and 7th Ave to 7th Ave to 6th Ave

  • Will be closed, Saturday, July 15th, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for Downtown Summerfest.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Union Street between 5th Avenue and Zelkwas Avenue

  • Will be closed, Wednesday, June 21st to Monday, July 21st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for ongoing construction installing shallow utilities.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Austin Road W between Kelly Road S and Crown Drive

  • Will be closed, Thursday, June 15th to Friday, July 21st from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for the removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb and gutter.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

5th Avenue westbound between Lyon Street and Nicholson Street

  • The curbside lane of w/b traffic will be closed, Wednesday, June 21st to Monday, July 31st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for the installation of BC Hydro infrastructure.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Intersection of 18th Ave and Foothills Blvd

  • Will be closed, Monday, June 12th to Thursday August 31st, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for construction of a roundabout.
  • Detour required. No access to Foothills Blvd from 18th Ave. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

3rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway

  • Will be closed every Saturday starting May 6th to October 14th for the Wilson Square Community Market.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Simon Fraser Bridge

  • Southbound Simon Fraser Bridge will remain closed until Fall 2023. Northbound Simon Fraser Bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
