Prince George, BC - Rolling Mix Concrete Arena will once again be known as the Prince George Coliseum now that the three-party naming agreement between the City, the Spruce Kings, and Rolling Mix Concrete has concluded.
In 2016, a tripartite contract between Rolling Mix Concrete, Prince George Spruce Kings, and the City of Prince George provided naming rights to the arena with financial and in-kind contributions provided to the Prince George Spruce Kings. On December 31, 2020, the contract term ended.
Following the Spruce Kings’ playoff run, which ended last month, the facility is returning to its previous name, Prince George Coliseum, and City staff are changing all on-site signage to reflect this.
“The City of Prince George extends its sincere thanks to Rolling Mix Concrete for its sponsorship and community partnership,” said Director of Recreation and Events, Andy Beesley. “We are also very appreciative and supportive of the Spruce Kings, which is why we held off on officially changing the name of the facility until after the playoffs to avoid any confusion.”
