FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. — The City of Prince George is excited to announce that registration is now open for the inaugural Future Fuels Forum. This event, the first of its kind, is set to take place on January 13 and 14, 2025, at the House of Ancestors. The two-day event will serve as a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and experts to explore the future of hydrogen and sustainable energy solutions.

Prince George, with its strategic location and resources, is emerging as a potential hub for hydrogen and clean energy initiatives. The Future Fuels Forum is the first conference of its kind in the city, offering a unique platform for collaboration and innovation. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with key players in the clean fuel industry, forge partnerships, and contribute to discussions that will shape the future of sustainable energy in Northern B.C.

“The City is working hard to attract project developers and technology providers to the region, fostering economic growth, job creation, and public-private partnerships,” said Mayor Simon Yu.  “The Future Fuels Forum will be instrumental in building awareness of the sector and highlighting the opportunities that Northern B.C. offers for sustainable energy projects.”

The initiative has been made possible through funding and partnerships from BC’s Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Low-Carbon Innovation, PacifiCan, Tourism Prince George, Deloitte, and the Canadian Carbon Solutions Coalition.
