Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - March 22, 2024

John Hart Bridge – Northbound (Left) Lane

• Will be closed, Monday March 25^th from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm for a sewer line repair.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Range Road between Westwood Drive and Wiebe Road

• Will be closed, Monday, March 25^th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for a new water service installation.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Hart Highway Frontage Road between Handlen Road and Richet Road

• Will experience minor traffic disruptions Wednesday, March 27^th from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for Geotech drilling.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Highway 97, Shady Lane and Perrin Heights

• Access between Perrin Heights and Highway 97 will be CLOSED – March 28^th
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.
• Highway 97 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction approaching Shady Lane. There will be up to three (3) 10-minute stoppages on Highway 97
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway Blvd

• Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 4^th from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Prince George Farmers Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

4^th Avenue between Dominion Street and George Street

• The south sidewalk from Dominion Street to George Street is closed for work on the UNBC Wood Innovation building.

Quebec Street between 6^th Avenue and 7^th Avenue

• The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrian use this winter; 6^th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed for the winter.
