Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - June 7, 2023

Ospika Blvd between Range Rd and Nicole Ave

• Will be single lane and intersection will be red light flashing Tuesday, June 6^th to Friday June 9^th, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm for milling and paving.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

8^th Ave and Burden Intersection

• Will be closed, Wednesday, June 7th, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm for water service repairs.
• Detour required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Northwest Corner of Dominion St and 7^th Ave

• Will have minor road closures, Thursday, June 8th, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm for sidewalk installation.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Weisbroad Rd between Hwy 97 and Pearl Dr

• Will be closed, Tuesday, June 6^th and Wednesday 7^th, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for paving.
• Detour required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

1^st and Tabor between McEachern Pl and 100m South of 1^st Ave

• Will have one lane closures, Thursday, June 8^th and Friday June 9^th, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for milling operations.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

5^th Ave between 5^th and Union and 5^th and Moffat

• Will be single lane, Monday, June 5^th to Friday, June 16^th, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am for BC Hyrdo work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Brunswick St between 3^rd and 5^th Ave

• Will have minor road disruptions and closures of the sidewalk and bike lane, Wednesday, May 31^st to Wednesday, June 28^th, from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm for replacement of sidewalks.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Intersection of 18^th Ave and Foothills Blvd

• Will be closed, Monday, June 12^th to Thursday August 31^st, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for construction of a roundabout.
• Detour required. No access to Foothills Blvd from 18^th Ave. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Domano Blvd between CHSS Entrance and Nicholas Ave

• Will have sidewalks and lanes closed, Thursday June 15^th to Friday, June 16^th, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm for drilling holes.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Laneway between 5^th Ave and 6^th Ave from Vancouver St to Brunswick St

• Will be closed, Monday, May 22^nd to Friday, June 16^th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for arial placing.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

399 2^nd Ave between London St and Windsor St

• Will be closed, Saturday June 17^th at 8:00 am to Sunday June 18^th at 10:00 am, for a live music event. 
• Detour required.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Foothills Boulevard between 15^th Avenue and 1380 Foothills Boulevard

• Will be reduced to single lane traffic, Saturday, April 15^th to Monday, July 3^rd from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm each day for the removal and replacement of sidewalks.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway

• Will be closed every Saturday starting May 6^th to October 14^th for the Wilson Square Community Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Simon Fraser Bridge

• Southbound Simon Fraser Bridge will remain closed until Fall 2023. Northbound Simon Fraser Bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

  The following sidewalks around the new pool will be closed until the end of June.

• Quebec Street east sidewalk between 6^th Avenue and 7^th Avenue
• 6^th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street
