Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - July 20, 2023

Intersection at 5^th Ave and Stuart Dr

• Will be single lane, alternating traffic, Wednesday, July 19^th, to Friday, July 21^st from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for water main replacement project.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Nechako Dr and 1^st Ave between 2^nd Ave

• Will be closed, Thursday, July 20^th, from 6:30am to 7:00pm for paving.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Foothills Blvd between Limestone and 5^th Ave

• Will have the bike land and sidewalk closed, Monday, July 17^th to Monday, July 24^th from 24hrs daily for sidewalk replacement.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

4288 Northwood Pulpmill Rd

• Will be single lane alternating traffic, Monday, July 24^th to Friday, August 4^th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily for Telus utility work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Stuart Drive between 5^th Avenue and Kinsmen Place

• Will be closed, starting Sunday, July 16^th to Friday, August 4^th – 24 hours for watermain replacement. Detours will be posted.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

5^th Avenue and Stuart Drive between Patterson and Ogilvie

• Will be alternating single lane traffic, Friday, July 21^st from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm for paving.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Union Street between 5^th Avenue and Zelkwas Avenue

• Will be closed, Wednesday, June 21^st to Monday, July 21^st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for ongoing construction installing shallow utilities.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Austin Road W between Kelly Road S and Crown Drive

• Will be closed, Thursday, June 15^th to Friday, July 21^st from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for the removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb and gutter.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Laneway between Alward and Burden from 13^th Ave to 15^th Ave

• Will be closed, Thursday, July 13^th to Saturday July 22^nd 24hrs, for underground electrical BC Hydro work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

15^th Avenue Frontage Road (3700 Block) between Liard Drive and Garvin Street

• Will be closed, Monday, July 24^th from 7:00 am to 10:00 am for paving.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

5^th Avenue westbound between Lyon Street and Nicholson Street

• The curbside lane of w/b traffic will be closed, Wednesday, June 21^st to Monday, July 31^st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for the installation of BC Hydro infrastructure.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Intersection of 18^th Ave and Foothills Blvd

• Will be closed, Monday, June 12^th to Thursday August 31^st, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for construction of a roundabout.
• Detour required. No access to Foothills Blvd from 18^th Ave. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway

• Will be closed every Saturday starting May 6^th to October 14^th for the Wilson Square Community Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Quebec St between 2^nd and 3^rd Ave

• Will be closed, every Saturday in summer, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm for the Prince George Farmers Market.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Simon Fraser Bridge

• Southbound Simon Fraser Bridge will remain closed until Fall 2023. Northbound Simon Fraser Bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
