Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - July 11, 2023

Ospika Blvd between Massey Dr and 15^th Ave – (North Bound Lanes)

• Will be closed, Monday July 10^th and Tuesday July 11^th for paving.
• Detour Required.
• Access to businesses will be available from South bound lanes.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have full access.

15^th Avenue between Freeman Street and Gillet Street

• Will be single lane traffic, Tuesday, July 11^th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for milling.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

5^th  Avenue & Melville Intersection

• May experience minor traffic interruptions, Tuesday, July 11^th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for sanitary sewer maintenance.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Ahbau Street (1100 Block) between Chilako Avenue & Babine Crescent

• Will be closed, Tuesday, July 11^th from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm for repairs to water service.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Tyner Blvd between University Heights and Ceremonial Rd

• Will be closed, Tuesday, July 11^th from 6:00 am through to 5:00pm on Thursday July 13^th for a watermain extension.
• Detour required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

20^th Avenue & Maple Street Intersection

• May experience minor traffic interruptions, Wednesday, July 12^th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for sanitary sewer maintenance.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Queensway (Plaza 400 Building) between 4^th Avenue and 5^th Avenue

• The southbound right lane will be closed, Wednesday, July 12^th from 6:00 am to 9:00 am for a man-lift placed on roadway for window cleaning.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Strathcona Avenue (1900 Block) between Upland Street

• May experience minor traffic disruptions, Monday, July 10^th to Friday, July 14^th from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for renewing gas main and services.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Kennedy Crescent between Eden Drive and Hoover Drive

• Will be closed, Thursday, July 13t from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm for installation of new services.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Ferry Ave between Hwy 97 onramp and offramp

• Will be single lane traffic, Wednesday, July 12^th to Friday July 14^th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for bridge construction.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Weather Permitting - Queensway between 17^th Avenue and 20^th Avenue

• Will be closed, Wednesday, July 12^th from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for paving.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Ospika Boulevard between Andres Road and Davis Road

• Will be single lane traffic, Friday, July 14^th from 4:30 am to 12 Noon for hard surface weed work.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Weather Permitting - Larch Street/Maple Street/19^th Avenue between 17^th Avenue and 20^th Avenue

• Will be closed, Friday, July 14^th from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm for paving.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Brunswick St and 7^th Ave between Hwy 16 and Canada Games Way / 6^th & 7th

• Will be single lane, alternating traffic, Friday, July 14^th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for paving in intersection.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Hofferkamp Rd between Hwy 97 North and the Look Out

• Will be single lane, alternating traffic, Friday, July 14^th, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm for milling, grading and paving operations.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Dominion St and 7^th Ave to 7^th Ave to 6^th Ave

• Will be closed, Saturday, July 15^th, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for Downtown Summerfest.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Quebec St between 2^nd and 3^rd Ave

• Will be closed, every Saturday in summer, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm for the Prince George Farmers Market.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Union Street between 5^th Avenue and Zelkwas Avenue

• Will be closed, Wednesday, June 21^st to Monday, July 21^st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for ongoing construction installing shallow utilities.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Austin Road W between Kelly Road S and Crown Drive

• Will be closed, Thursday, June 15^th to Friday, July 21^st from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for the removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb and gutter.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

5^th Avenue westbound between Lyon Street and Nicholson Street

• The curbside lane of w/b traffic will be closed, Wednesday, June 21^st to Monday, July 31^st from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for the installation of BC Hydro infrastructure.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Intersection of 18^th Ave and Foothills Blvd

• Will be closed, Monday, June 12^th to Thursday August 31^st, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for construction of a roundabout.
• Detour required. No access to Foothills Blvd from 18^th Ave. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway

• Will be closed every Saturday starting May 6^th to October 14^th for the Wilson Square Community Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Simon Fraser Bridge

• Southbound Simon Fraser Bridge will remain closed until Fall 2023. Northbound Simon Fraser Bridge will be reduced to single lane in each direction.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
