Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - April 3, 2024

Sintich Road between Granby Road and Northern Crescent

• Will be single lane alternating, Tuesday, April 2^nd to Saturday, April 6^th from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for BC Hydro Geotech drilling.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Blackwater Road between Beaverly Road East and Fyfe Forest Service Road

• Will be single lane alternating, Monday, April 1^st to Thursday, April 4^th from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for BC Hydro Geotech drilling.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

317 Beech Crescent

• Will be closed, Thursday, April 4^th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for a water service repair.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Victoria Street (500 block) between 5^th Avenue and 6^th Avenue

• Will be single lane traffic, Wednesday, April 10^th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for sign replacements.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

5^th Avenue between Victoria Street and Brunswick Street

• Will experience minor traffic delays, Thursday, April 11^th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for sign replacements.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Austin Road West between Foothills Blvd and Heather Road

• Will be single lane alternating, Tuesday, April 16 & Wednesday, April 17^th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for leachate force main maintenance.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway Blvd

• Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 4^th from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Wilson Square Community Farmers Market.  
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

4^th Avenue between Dominion Street and George Street

• The south sidewalk from Dominion Street to George Street is closed for work on the UNBC Wood Innovation building.

Quebec Street between 6^th Avenue and 7^th Avenue

• The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrian use this winter; 6^th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed for the winter.
