Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - April 16, 2024

Range Road between Westwood Drive and Wiebe Road

• Will be closed, Monday, April 15^th to Friday, April 19^th from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for road repairs & paving.  
• Sidewalks will be closed.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

North Nechako Road between Arend Drive and Rustad Road

• Will be single lane alternating traffic, Tuesday, April 16^th & Wednesday, April 17^th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for a water service repair.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

John Hart Bridge - Highway 97 between 5^th Avenue and North Nechako Road

• The North & Southbound fast lanes will be closed, Tuesday, April 16^th from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for a sanitary line repair.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Central Street West between 15^th Avenue and Commercial Crescent

• Will experience minor traffic disruption, Tuesday, April 16^th from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm for Rogers Communications to repair a damaged service vault on the green space in front of the bank.
• Traffic control on-site to direct pedestrian traffic.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Austin Road West between Foothills Blvd and Heather Road

• Will be single lane alternating, Tuesday, April 16 & Wednesday, April 17^th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for leachate force main maintenance.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Foothills Blvd between North Nechako Road and Highland Drive

• Will be single lane traffic in both directions, Wednesday, April 17^th from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for a washout repair.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Victoria Street between 1^st Avenue and 2^nd Avenue

• The Southbound, right lane will be closed, Wednesday, April 17^th from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm for Rogers Communications to repair a damaged service vault.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

George Street between 3^rd Avenue and 4^th Avenue

• Will be closed, Friday, April 19^th at 2:00 pm to Sunday, April 21^st at 2:00 pm for the BC Craft Farmers Cannabis Summit.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

5^th Avenue between Alward Street and Carney Street

• Will be closed for 24 hours from Monday, April 29^th to Friday, May 10^th for a valve replacement project.
• Detours required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT Have access.

Haldi Road between Purdue Road East and Walter Road

• Will be closed 24 hours from Monday, April 29^th to Friday, May 31^st for a sanitary main installation.
• Detours required.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway Blvd

• Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 4^th from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Wilson Square Community Farmers Market.  
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Quebec Street between 6^th Avenue and 7^th Avenue

• The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrian use this winter; 6^th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed for the winter.
