Prince George, BC - The City of Prince George is seeking applications for a grant that helps non-profit organizations to initiate or sustain great ideas, events, and projects that improve and bring vitality to the city. The application deadline for the myPG Community Grant is March 15, 2022.
“This grant assists non-profit groups and other community organizations to develop and implement innovative activities, projects, and events that contribute to making Prince George a great community,” said Doug Hofstede, Community Coordinator with the City of Prince George. “Eligible initiatives can be large or small. Grants typically range from $2500 to $8000, but can be as small as $900. Activities and projects should be accessible to residents of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and income levels.”
Applications will be evaluated based on alignment with the following criteria:
- Increasing community pride
- Encouraging a safe community
- Providing social connections for citizens
- Encouraging physical activity
- Providing opportunities for involvement in arts and culture
- Ensuring equity and inclusion
