Share your ideas for what will make your neighbourhood – and Prince George as a whole – an even better place to live! Each October, the City of Prince George hosts neighbourhood conversations in various areas of the City to help to realize Council's priority of reconnecting with partners and citizens.
Mayor Lyn Hall, members of Council, and dozens of City staff work to present these informal meetings at community halls and other neighbourhood facilities, and to provide a comfortable place for residents to connect with their local government, learn more about current and up-coming initiatives, and give direct feedback to Council and Administration about the issues that matter to them.
The 2017 Referendum on Fire Hall #1 and the Four Seasons Pool formed a major component of this year's Talktober in the shape of multiple information sessions on the proposed buildings. However, a regular Talktober Neighbourhood Conversation will be scheduled in November following the Referendum. Subscribe to the City's News and Notices to receive information about the next period of Talktober Neighbourhood Conversations or follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
