Natural Parks - to preserve areas of significant natural beauty.

A City Defined by Nature - By Shawn Haines

Our natural parks allow for the preservation and enhancement of natural areas providing habitat, ecosystem functions and biodiversity.  These parks retain natural features and are mature or diverse natural areas.  The facilities are limited to soft or surfaced trails, pedestrian bridges, view points and basic level site furnishings as well as providing opportunities for interpretation and educational features.

In the City of Prince George, the total area of the 16 Natural Parks is 907.92 ha.  Please click on the links below to visit our larger natural parks.
