The mandate of the Advisory Committee on Development Design is to provide impartial advice on development or policy affecting the community's physical environment to the Development Community, the General Manager of Planning and Development, or City Council, as required.
When projects are available for discussion, the Committee meets Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in City Hall.
When making a presentation to the Committee regarding a development project, presenters are encouraged to consider the following aspects:
- Universal Accessibility
- Climate-sensitive design
- Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
